About Me

I am a PhD student at the Barth Group of the EPFL, Switzerland. Currently my research is focused on the design of light-gated ion channels for vision restoration. Previously, I worked on vector database for gene meta-analysis, protein energy landscapes exploration and expanding capabilities of UNRES course-grained force field.

📚 My Research
I currently work on designing optogenetic switches for vision restoration in late-stage inherited retinal diseases. In the past, I worked on extending the capabilities of UNRES coarse-grained force field, protein energy landscapes, and developing a biological vector database. In general, I’m interested in using computational methods to solve complex biological problems, especially in the field of protein and drug design.
